Responsibilites:
1.Provide technical & engineering support in tooling for both metal stamping & forming, covering areas of tooling design, fabrication & optimisation. Job includes tooling/process standardisation, new technology trasnfer & implementation & support to site stamping/forming operations:
2.Participante in development standard tooling & stamping/forming platform and new metal forming capability accoriding to company strategy.
3.Provide leadership and coordination for problem solving in key quality & production issues in metal stamping/forming.
4.Coordinate with internal and outside resources in support of tooling preventive maintenance and production schedule objectives.
5.Assist in quality process audit & process qualification.
6.Provide training and instruction for stamping operations & tool making as required and assigned.
7.Work with each site to drive/track yield improvement projects in tooling optimisation, process reduction/optimisation to meet increased production requirements.
8.Drive in new technology & capability development
Requirements:
1.University diploma/bachelor or above in Engineering with over 10 years’ experience in tooling for metal stamping & forming
2.Good understanding & interpreting engineering requirements, including geometric dimensioning and tolerances.
3.Prior experience in tooling designing/developing/maintaining/optimising & supporting metal stamping/forming production for various product materials such as steel, aluminum, copper, etc is desirable.
4.Knowlodge & experience in tooling for precision stamping & cosmetic parts stamping is also needed.
5.Ability to develop and implement effective process instruction and process control documentation required.
6.Experience in new process development and manufacturing support experience for yield & efficiency improvement.
7.Good knowledge of tooling materials, tool-making facilities & equipment (including CNC), fixture design
8.knowledge of total quality control, gauge/sensoring and CMM required
9.Ability to speak and communicate effectively in English required.
10.Proactive attitude, Sense of urgency, Team work spirit
