Reponsibilities:
1.Providing technical & engineering support in AE Metal in automation for both automation mechanical design (for automation mechanical staff to hire) & electronics design (for automation electronics staff to hire) targeted at standardization of automation equipment/processes; new technology transfer & implementation; support to site's yield improvement via process automation. These include:
1)Assist in development proper automation process platform and new automation capability according to company strategy.
2)Provide leadership and coordination for problem solving in key quality & production issues in process automation.
3)Coordinate with internal and outside resources in support of both preventive maintenance and production schedule objectives.
4)Assist in quality process audit & process qualification.
5)Provide training and instruction for regional sites as required and assigned.
6)Work with each sites to drive/track yield improvement projects through implementing much sustainable process automation to meet increased production requirements.
7)Drive in new technology & capability development, including automation devices/systems needed in development of special-or multi- purpose machines
Requirements:
1.University diploma/bachelor or above in mechanical/Electronics Engineering with over 8 years’ experience in automation in a manufacturing environment
2.Good understanding & interpreting engineering requirements, including geometric dimensioning and tolerances.
3.Prior experience in developing and supporting automation programs for is desirable.
4.Master of AutoCAD & 3D softwares (Pro-E/Solidworks) is a must.
5.For the electronics staff to hire, good knowledge & hands-on experiences in use of PLC & its programming is a must. For the mechanical staff to hire, good knowledge & hands-on experience in design & manufacturing of automation fixtures & non-standard auto equipment is must.
6.Knowledge of online sensoring system including but-not-limited-to limit switches, contact/non-contact sensors, vision system is desired.
7.Good knowledge of engineering materials, their mechanical properties & characterization.
8.Ability to develop and implement effective process instruction and process control documentation required.
9.New process development and manufacturing support experience for yield & efficiency improvement is desirable.
10.Ability to speak and communicate effectively in English required.
11.Can work under pressure, independently with proactive attitude, sense of urgency, & team work spirit
