| Position Title: Public Relations & Marketing Manager (Southern China) Marketing Services China Reports to:Associate Director Marketing Services China RESPONSIBILITIES: - Establish and maintain good working relationship with trade media in Southern China. - Generate regular media exposure and enhance Savills branding in Southern China. - Pitch ideas for articles and generate interviews for Savills China management. - Organise press conferences (corporate and project) and regular media briefings. - Translate and disseminate press releases (corporate and project) to media. - Prepare press clippings on media coverage generated on a regular basis. - Maintain and update Southern China media list on a regular basis. - Seek out valuable PR and marketing opportunities for Savills China, e.g. participation in events, trade shows, sponsorship packages, etc. - Assist in marketing activities, corporate events and internal activities. - Provide consulting services to other departments on media buy and PR activities on a project basis. - Assist in crisis management for Savills Southern China offices and departments. - Scope of work covers all Savills offices in the Southern China region. REQUIREMENTS: - Team player who is able to interface with all departments and levels of management. - Preferably with extensive trade media contacts in Southern China. - Must be effectively bilingual in both written and spoken English and Chinese. - Excellent interpersonal, presentation & communication skills. - Self starter with excellent negotiation and persuasion skills. - Responsible, confident and mature individual with pleasant personality. - Degree holder with 3 to 5 years' relevant experience. - Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint. This position is based in the Savills office in Shenzhen/Guangzhou, China. Applications will be treated in strict confidence.
